What is God like?

What is God like? As you think Him to be. The glass of the mirror reflects such faces, good or bad, as are presented to it. The sun remains unaffected by the clouds that obscure it from our view. If angry clouds break upon you, know them to be so owing to the coloured glasses through which you look at them. As you think, so do you see. Why then be afraid? You will enjoy complete detachment only by entering the House of God through Patience—there is no other way out of the afflictions of life. Wherefore keep sefving the Lord with evenness of mind to all worldly objects.
