How to escape from delusion?

The God-ward movements of thought keep swinging to and fro under the control of Nature, so that man is enmeshed by his desires and bound by self-assertiveness to life-long activities. There is no escape from these false delusive appearances except by surrender to God. Submit yourself to His mercy with a view to being consecrated for the path of the Lord. As preordained, necessity takes its course. Nature in her prodigality does provide constant gratification to the furrowing passions; but it behoves man not to be unmindful in any circumstance of his divinely appointed end.
